Challenge:  The company pivoted quickly to a remote environment during the pandemic and most employees were new to virtual meetings in Zoom. Shortcuts were necessary for online meeting proficiency.  The client requested a quick reference guide so employees could quickly access keyboard shortcuts.

Solution: Job aid with some of the most common shortcuts used for Zoom meetings that were easy to access at a glance. Employees had these visible while working remotely from home.

Results: Employees were able to utilize the job aid as needed during Zoom meetings, slowly putting keyboard shortcuts to memory with more practice. Zoom meetings were smoother and employees felt more confident in the virtual meeting setting.

Client:  Ekin Clothing Company

Challenge:  Different departments within the organization did not understand what to do in the instance of a materials shortage. Employees did not understand the overall protocol or the roles each department held in the process.  The confusion over roles and overall processes created frustration between departments and deliverables to be delayed.

Solution: Job aid with steps for the materials shortage tracking process outlined with role descriptions for each department.  This job aid would be used as a visual following an employee training course.

Results:  Employees were able to understand the process for tracking material shortages and the responsibilities held by each department. Departments understood appropriate contacts within the process and the efficiency of on-time shipments of products increased.
